A local radio show is currently broadcasting fromt the Minnesota State Fair. He has, as guests, several news anchors from various local TV channels. One mentioned that TV news is one of the few careers where you can go to school (technical college) for a year or two and come out with a comfortable seven figure income.

Many of these same people love to use their positions to express their political views.

So if they have less of an education than I have1 (a five year degree at a University), and having a degree I know that University educations are useless for anything but getting your foot in the door at your first job, then why am I supposed to listen to their political views?

1. Nothing against technical degrees, they are great in finding jobs, they just do little to inform the student of the political process or the Constitutionality of most of the things promised by politicians.
