Defending the Family from the Department of Education
What a privilege to live in a country founded on the principle that there exists a Creator God and that all law and government come from Him! What a wonderful blessing of liberty was bequeathed to us by our forefathers � the liberty to worship God as we choose and to write and speak and think as our conscience dictates without fear of reprisal by tyrannical government ministers!
Central to this liberty is the God-given right to train and to educate our children to think and act as free men and women as we prepare them to take their proper productive place in their families, their churches, and their communities.
But this right and this freedom is under attack today by an evil power that seeks to separate children from their parents’ influence and to prepare them not for independent, productive service to God, family and country, but for increasing dependence on the largesse of the growing welfare state and a dangerous new world order. Simply put, they are being trained for slavery!
In the last 30 years, under both Democratic and Republican presidents, the U.S. Department of Education, following a globalist, United Nations plan, has spent trillions of your tax dollars drugging and �dumbing-down� your children. Our public schools are a cesspool of politically correct, condom dispensing, sodomy promoting sewage that calls itself education. As their failed approach continues to bring more and more disgraceful and disappointing results, they cry louder and louder for more funding to fix the failure.
Of course, more funding isn’t the answer.
Members of the Constitution Party know that the federal government has no business directing the education of children. The United States Constitution, the supreme law of the land, provides no authority for the Department of Education or any of its programs. That’s right! The whole thing is unauthorized and ought to be disbanded! It didn’t even exist until Jimmy Carter created it as a political payoff for the powerful teachers unions after they helped him defeat Gerald Ford. It’s never done any good, it’s contributed to making schools more and more dangerous places for your children, and its existence is unlawful.
As president of the United States, I promise to do what the Republican Party promised but never delivered � close down the unconstitutional federal Department of Education. Count on it!
