I hear on the radio that tomorrow is supposed to be a “gas out” day. In protest of above $2.00/gallon prices, people are calling for a one day boycott. That’s smart, it just ensures that they can raise the prices on Thursday because you morons all have empty tanks! Only two things are going to bring prices down:
- OPEC raises production, and thus supply, while demand remains constant; or
- Everyone decides to drive less, decreasing demand, while supply remains constant.
Both happening would obviously make it even batter, but neither is likely to happen soon.
