I’m listening to Dennis Prager. He’s broadcasting from Monterey, California, which is just down the coast from Santa Cruz, one of the most liberal cities in America, with one of the most liberal colleges in the nation. A woman called in and said that UC Santa Cruz has cyanide pills on campus for it’s students so that if there is a nuclear holocaust, they can end their lives before the pain of radioactive fallout sets in. Sounds a little paranoid to me.
I have to mention that I’ve been to Santa Cruz a couple times. I think it is an incredibly beautiful city, and love to visit it whenever I’m in Northern California. I can’t believe how loony left they are though. San Francisco is also a beautiful Northern California city that I have enjoy visiting, but it makes more sense to me why SF is so liberal, considering that the majority of large cities does lean left. As long as I don’t have to live there and have them steal my paycheck, I don’t let it bother me.
