I’m back at work today, but not at full capacity. Sunday I came down with the flu and was miserable. I stayed home yesterday to try to rest and regain some strength. This morning I felt tired, but figured I’d get back to work. Now that I’m married and moved, my commute went from 10 minutes to an hour each way, and once I reached the half-way point to work, I felt completely drained. I’m planning on sticking things out today, at least I have a desk job that doesn’t require vast amounts of physical energy. It may take me until the weekend before I get my strength back though.

I’m pretty much out of “Notable Quotable’s” for now. It may be a while before I have time to find more to add. Until then, I’ll just be doing the “My Utmost” posts and whatever the day brings (or at least trying to).

  1. Sorry to hear about the flu. Maybe it is something about honeymoons that makes us husbands ill, as I came back with mild flu after mine. Congratulations and God’s Best to you and your bride

  2. Thanks for your well wishes. Our mothers both think it is directly related to the stress of such a big change in life. While I am uncertain about that, and do have a clear history of difficulty with big changes in life, it certainly seems plausible.
