The election is over!!!! Now we can go another two years before hearing of Presidential politics again (the primaries start a little too soon if you ask me). It looks like the President is getting another 4. If so, my understanding is that it will be the first time since the birth of the Republic that Burke’s Peerage failed to successfully predict who would win. (I first commented on Burke’s Peerage on April 16th here.
I predict that when Supreme Court Justices begin retiring, Bush will appoint pro-life judges that will never get out of committee in the Senate because of his buddy Arlen Spectre.
I’ve decided from here out, in keeping with my agreement with Vox that we have a single, bi-factional ruling party, I will be addressing Mr. Bush’s office as “Chairman”. That applies to many of his predecessors and probably will apply to his successors as well.
