It’s been relatively cool here in Minnesota this summer. I think I turned my air conditioner on for maybe six days this year. Over the last few weeks, the temps have been October-like.
I saw something on my way home from work yesterday that I hadn’t noticed until then that depressed me though, a maple tree that had turned golden in color and was losing leaves. It’s beautiful in October, but depressing in August. The cool temps seem to have fooled the tree into “thinking” it’s Fall already.
