After almost 9 months (6 being pretty much hidden from the outside world), I’ve reached the 1000 hit mark. Seems a little slow, even if you consider most of them were in the last 3 months, but that’s ok with me!!
I recently added the hit counter code to the archive pages, so that it will count and track hits to pages other than the main blog page. Since then, I’ve noticed a lot of hits coming from Google searches. One thing that joining the alliance did was it moves me way up on google searches. In fact, it puts me in the top 5 or so of most of the searches that I’ve seen that have brought people to my blog. In most cases, my little blog definitely doesn’t deserve to be ranked that high.
One search that seems to come up more frequently than I’d have thought is my entry back in February about the political spectrum.
Yep, I noticed that with me in the alliance as well.
