This article came to my attention via The Ruminator. I’m, in a sense, shocked that Hizbollah would condemn any act of violence perpetrated against any westerner. Their very reason for being is to perpetrate violence. If the article hadn’t given their reason, I wouldn’t have believed it, I would have passed it off as something akin to what The Onion would write. It seems that Hizbollah is afraid the world will lose it’s anger against the U.S. for the prison abuse scandal. I take that to mean that a savage murder of an innocent man doesn’t bother them, it’s the timing that bothers them.
