“Mom and Dad” as well as “husband and wife” effectively have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.

Martin Luther King must be rolling over in his grave. The Civil Rights movement of the 1960’s certainly had noble goals. Ending government-sponsored racism was something that certainly needed to be done. What was once a noble goal to end erroneous discrimination policies has grown into a leviathan movement that threatens to destroy America.

The foundational social construct of any culture is the family. Destroy the family and you will destroy the culture. I have no doubt that this is a deliberate move to attack the family.

I am also concerned that this will destroy many children’s lives. This idea that males should be allowed to use female restrooms and locker rooms and vice-versa can have no positive consequences. Applying this principle to children is all the more destructive. I expect that before the school year is finished, we will hear of stories of high school boys, bursting with hormones and sexualized to the gills, will begin using this law to get their way into girls’ locker rooms for purely sexual purposes, all the while claiming that they identify themselves as female (and anyone who argues will be charged with harassment). Boys and girls will be forced to shower together, and sexual assault rates will skyrocket in California. The state will have no one to blame but themselves.

If these rediculous and destructive laws aren’t overturned or repealed post haste, things will very quickly degenerate. If men can use the women’s restroom and women can use the men’s restroom, there is no reason to even have seperate restrooms*. The building code will probably be changed soon to eliminate men’s and women’s restrooms in favor of larger unisex restrooms. The same goes for locker and shower rooms.

In the end, the level of moral decay is absolutely amazing to me. Just when I think it really can’t get any worse, I’m proven wrong.

*I spent a few weeks at a kibbutz in Israel in 2002. I was shocked the first time I went to the dining center when one of the women I was with showed me to the restroom to wash my hand before eating. She walked in the restroom and I stood outside not seeing where the men’s room was. She quickly turned around and told me to keep following her. The restroom was actually for men and women. The stalls were full walls with real doors, not the metal partitions we are used to here in the US, so there was still plenty of privacy for actually doing your business. California will likely have to do something similar in their building code very quickly in order to minimize the damage of their very destructive and stupid new laws. Even then, they are going to have a major sexual assault problem on their hands in no time.
