I was just playing around with Google Earth, which if you haven’t toyed with you should. Tonight I noticed that they have a pretty detailed listing of destroyed villages in Darfur Sudan. It appears they have teamed up with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. You can zoom in and see villages that have clearly been burned to the ground.

I’m not a big supporter of politically correct awareness campaigns, so this post isn’t to jump on the bandwagon that Hollywood has been discovering recently. However, I do think Darfur is a case-study in the “Religion of Peace,” and I pray that the suffering of innocents there is minimized, if not stopped.

It’s definitely worth checking out.
